For over 25 years, Hardwoods Group has provided expertise and inspiration in all things oak construction. From decking to doorways and from fresh-sawn beams to complete building frames.

Over time, oak framing has steadily become our number one offering, with the strength of our design capabilities perfectly complementing our precision craftsmanship. From standalone porches through to full homes, we translate design visions into viable plans and then manufacture the resulting frames with millimetric accuracy.

As part of our ongoing expansion plans, we’ve created a dedicated division for our framing specialism, under the brand Vestra Oak. This enables us to properly showcase our outstanding offering in this area, distinct from our wider portfolio of timber and general joinery supply.

 The name Vestra comes from the Latin for “yours,” which perfectly reflects our approach. Every oak frame we produce is designed to be truly yours – tailored to your needs, your site, and your aspirations. By focusing on bespoke solutions rather than standardised products, Vestra Oak ensures that every structure feels individual, while still benefiting from the efficiency and precision of our advanced manufacturing methods. 

Within the Vestra team, we believe that if a vision exists for a beautiful oak-framed structure, it deserves the simplest and most effective route possible to realisation. And to ensure this, craftsmanship must dovetail with everyday construction practices if the beauty of tradition is to be preserved.

Under the Vestra Oak brand, we’ll continue building on the unique strengths that have supported our framing growth already: talented interpretation of design dreams, and specialist manufacture of innovative kit form that enables seamless installation by non-joinery specialists. We’re also proud to offer the fastest turnaround for oak frame production, typically helping to cut weeks off project timelines.

The dedicated Vestra team will be steadily expanded, always supported by our advanced production facility. Our group-wide factory boasts a wide range of cutting-edge equipment, including 5- and 6-axis CNC cutting machinery.
